SMTP Configuration
Pagemaker provides an SMTP configuration feature, empowering Amazon sellers to dispatch Amazon coupon codes via their chosen email platforms. This functionality allows them to utilize their preferred email addresses and names when distributing these codes.
Overview:
When creating an Amazon page in Pagemaker, you can choose to share coupon codes either via email or a pop-up. If the email option is selected, customers filling out details on the landing page and attempting to redeem a coupon will receive the coupon via Pagemaker email.
To customize the email sender information, users must set up a custom domain and configure SMTP settings. This ensures that coupon emails appear to be sent from the user's email address and display their chosen sender name.
Configuration Steps:
Follow these steps to configure SMTP for your Amazon pages in Pagemaker:
- Find an SMTP service provider such as Brevo, Mailtrio, or another provider and obtain the SMTP API key information. ( Let's use Brevo as an example. )
- Log in to your Brevo (SendinBlue) account.
Navigate to your profile, select SMTP & API, and generate a new SMTP key.
Copy the generated API key and save it securely.
- Log in to your Pagemaker account.
- Complete the domain setup in your Pagemaker account.
Enter the following information:
- Host: SMTP Server
- Port: Port Number
- Username: Your SMTP Service Provider account Email
- Password: Paste the API key generated in step 4
- Select TLS as the encryption type
- Specify the sender email address (from which you want to send emails) and the sender name (the name associated with that email).
- Update the configuration.
Done!! Your Amazon page's SMTP configuration is now complete.
This SMTP configuration is specifically designed for Amazon pages. Standard landing page SMTP configurations may not function in Pagemaker. Pagemaker currently supports automation emails for lead white-labeling but does not offer general email automation features for customers.
Extra Benefit:
If a lead attempts to redeem another coupon using the same email, there's no need to worry about coupon duplication. Pagemaker ensures that the same email will receive the email again, but the coupon code remains the same.
